The daily operating rhythm

The small handful of things you do every day that keep the business moving.

By Kayla SierraJuly 3, 20263 min read

Growth does not come from working harder on the days you are motivated. It comes from a small daily rhythm that runs whether you feel like it or not.

The four buckets

Every founder needs a rhythm in four buckets:

  1. Delivery. Doing the work the client is already paying for.
  2. Sales. Reaching one new prospect and following up with one existing one.
  3. Systems. One tiny improvement to how the business runs.
  4. Self. Movement, food, and enough sleep to think clearly.

That is it. Four buckets, one small thing each, every workday.

Why it works

Compound effect. One outreach a day is 250 a year. One system improvement a week is 50 a year. A year of that changes the shape of the business more than any sprint week ever did.

The Cavor.iq artifact for this

Module 12 gives you the Daily Operating Rhythm, a fillable document you can maintain in multiple named versions (a rhythm for a launch season, a rhythm for a maintenance season, a rhythm for when a family thing pulls your attention). One founder, many rhythms, one system.
